More than a café, Majestic symbolizes an important part of the city's history. It was inaugurated on December 17, 1921, under the name of Elite. Despite the frenzy of the inauguration, this name did not last, changing from Elite to Majestic, a name more appropriate to the spirit of the regulars. A village that may date back to the neolithic, Valverde is located between the Dão river, the Coja brook and the Teixugueira brook. These lands are not very fertile due to the altitude and to the harsh winters. Nonetheless, its 200 inhabitants are farmers and cattl raisers. A special note to the mother church, the roman fountain and the ruins of "A Mona", a house with a coat of arms. The craftswork includes wool stockings and cheeses.

Located in a fertile valley, by the brook with the same name, the village of Botão dates back to the pre-roman age and was a "moçárabe" (moorish and native) village in the 9th and 11th centuries. Agriculture is its main activity and then craftswork, namely the making of toothpicks. Its monumental heritage includes the church of Saint Mateus, with manuelin high altar and campanile, the temple shaped crucifix and the ruined manuelin palace.

This village, with around 200 inhabitants, is located in the Vila Verde parish, where farming and granite extraction stand out. In fact, most of the houses at Perafita are built in granite. A special note to the mother hurch (known as the Sanctuary of Our Lord of Perafita and dating back to the second half of the 18th century) and to the fountain at the base of the churche's belltower. In this traditional village of the Lands of Barroso, one can still view typical cul covered houses. The Areaias Farm is located where there once was the Furamontes Farm or Casal of the Chapel, dating back to the 18th century.
