The Old School House, in Vila Viçosa, is a 16TH century manor, purchased in 1602 by Dom Teodósio II, Duke of Braganza. It was the first home of the society of Jesus in Vila Viçosa. These are the remains of an ancient Roman castle, built on a site overlooking the city. Of the original medieval fortress, only a few sections of the wall remain, some integrated into other buildings and not always visible. At the top of the walls is the Portas do Sol viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the region and where it is possible to appreciate a work of urban art.

After following the municipal road, access to this site is gained on foot via an approximately 50 metre long trail. This 30 metre high waterfall is found in the environs of Fóia, located at the beginning of Ribera do Barbelote.
