Igreja Matriz de Pinhel / Mosteiro de São Luís

This church is also known as São Luís Church, together with the monastery it was founded in 1596 by Luís de Figueiredo Falcão and used to belong to the Clarisse orders. It has some elements from the sixteen hundreds and from the eighteen hundreds. From the first period, it stands out the only nave, the ceiling and the main chapel coverage; from the second period stands out the doorway, the windows and the main elevation.

Medieval religious monument, consisting of nave, chancel and vestry. The facade is composed of granite protruding Bell Tower. Above the door figure a Greek cross and, at the top of the Bell Tower, the clock moving. The interior retains the choir-high, the 17th century pulpit on the side of the Gospel, the side altarpieces of carved and the altarpiece-mor of late-Baroque gilded.

Religious monument composed of nave, chancel, vestry and attached room. The facade is in granite and is located near a double bell tower. It was rebuilt in the 18th century, a fact which gave chase and features. In the 20TH century was built 60 new chancel, vestry and associated dependencies. The tiles in the chancel and the images of the altar are of modern manufacture.

Church built between 1754 and 1766, to replace the original Chiesa Madre (mother church) of medieval Foundation. Featured, in the chancel, for some screens by Maria Fernanda Rich Tuscan painter.

Neoclassical Church of longitudinal plant, consisting of a nave and a chancel with barrel vault. In the early 19th century receives a tiled flooring. Between 1976 and 1984 the Hermitage is used as the headquarters of the local music band, and in 1984 had renovation works and was transformed into the funeral parlour.

A 16th century chapel, rural, built in the 16th century, with an extended porch arches, square chancel, nave and rectangular pulpit on the porch. In the 18th century was rebuilt after the earthquake. The interior murals represent Saints. In 1964 it was restored and reopened to the cult.

This building used to be associated with the road network of the region. Consists of 3 floors, simultaneously, civil architecture and Gothic Romanesque. It is difficult to assign the construction season, though believed to have been in the mid-13TH century, given his seniority may be more remote than believed.

This is the oldest monument in the parish. Small chapel, 16th-century building, located in the bastion of s. João, although healed already existed in the 14th century. The highlight goes to the murals of 1622, revealing 20 representations of late Manueline inspiration.
