This trail begins and ends near the chapel of Santo António, being effected through a descent way of standing desk, great part in ancient stone staircase. Along the descent we enjoy a magnificent view over the Fajã de Besides, Fajã do Ouvidor, Fajã da Ribeira da Areia and in days of good visibility over the Islands Third and graceful.

Viewpoint located on Monte da Santinha or Senhora da Paz, with views over the village of Amares and the Cávado River valley. The contrast of the white houses with the green of the fields marks the landscape.

A natural belvedre, atop the Senhora da Penha, with amazing panoramic views of the Grândola Mountain. In the hermitage, one can find the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Penha, of the 17th century.

Small circular route which starts and finishes near the Miradouro da Vista of boats in Porto Formoso, passing by the tea Factory and the respective tea plantations

This curious basalt formation of volcanic origin resembles, in profile, the shape of a whale, which gives it its name. It is located in the small bay of Ponta da Barca.

Viewpoint located at the highest point of the Serra de Rates, at about 200 meters of altitude, where you can find traces of an Iron Age fort, the Chapel of São Félix and some windmills adapted for holiday homes. This entire area offers fantastic views over the sea, the city and the mountains.

Typical village in the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, framed in a granite frame, on the hillside of serra. His wealth, with much dark granitic as beautiful, gives this site a unique and very attractive mysticism. One of the ex-libris of this location is the so-called Bolideira Stone, a rock that rocks the slight jerk of the human hand.

The trail descends to Fajã da Praia do Norte, a fajã formed initially by debris and later by lava, with the occurrence of eruption of Cabeço do Fogo. The fajã is marked by the presence of the Ribeira de Adam, along which the trail continues. A little further you will find praia da fajã, recommended by locals for the practice of surf. This route passes in an area classified as a site of Community interest and Special protection area.
