This residential estate was built by orders of D. João de Castro, viceroy in India and afterwards it suffered profound changes. It is possible to find several chapels throughout the estate, one of which is named Nossa Senhora do Monte and it is a construction under the Renaissance style, from 1542. It has a circular plan and on its inside it is possible to see six columns with capitals and ashlars in tiles from the XVII century.

The “Industrial Heritage Circuits of São João da Madeira” allow visitors to see firsthand the restoration of the region's industrial heritage. For example, Viarco, the only operating pencil factory in the country, Helsar and Everest, from the footwear sector, Cortadoria Nacional de Pelo and Fepsa, from the hat industry, and Heliotêxtil, a trimmings factory, are some of the participating companies. The Welcome Center is located in the Torre da Oliva building.

This Park, located on top of a hill, has stone tables and benches and allows you to see the magnificent landscape of the parish of Queirã.

In this space you can see some parts of numismatics and ceramics found in archaeological excavations near the castle of new castle.

Located in the Marques de Pombal Palace, here you can see an ancient staircase with various statues and various ornaments.

Located just behind the Lamego See, this space was once a tavern. It is currently a restaurant that serves good home made dishes.

Building that was being successively extended in accordance with the needs of various eras. In the early era of small dimensions, having undergone expansion of the structure in the mid-twentieth century, demolished an existing chapel.

The current chapel was erected in the 19th century, where there was an ancient chapel, which was destroyed by the population in the early 19th century, due to the transfer of the image of our Lady of miracles for the Cathedral of Viseu.

A village where most of the houses are made of granite. The monuments include the mother church with a procession cross and several linen panels with the scenes of the Passion, the pillory, the chapels of Saint António, Saint Bárbara, Our Lady of Penha and Our Lady of Consolação, the old prison and the menhir. The local craftswork includes the manufacturing of baskets.
