This small circular garden, with trees and lawns, has an ancient granite fountain which is now dry and badly preserved.

These mills, now ruined, belong to the architectonic nucleus of the 19th century and can be seen along the banks of the river Leça.

Located in the building of the old county jail. More than 500 years old, the place was recovered and a restaurant appeared. On the back side of the Santa Maria Church, it serves quite original regional dishes. It has a bar and a waiting room.

The house of the Ferrazes Bravos is a noble house from the first half of the XVII century. It has a chapel on the limitrophe that opens to the ground. The main façade and the posterior have a resistant element and frames in carved granite work. To get to the noble floor you’ll have to climb a stairs with various columns and capitals also in granite. The forged iron bars at the balconies stand out.

The collection clearly shows the populations faith to Our Lady of Porto D'Ave. It consists of paintings that picture a miracle performed at a time of affliction. In every panel one can see the image of the protective saint and a subtitle telling how the miracl occured.

In this church the highlight goes to the drawing and grandeur of the main portal.

This granite portal is compoed of a redctangular "door" and of a cross on the top.

The primitive nucleus is from 1582, being later transformed in palace, in the XVIII century. Today it lodges the Overseas Historic Archive.

It is a fortified manor house from the 15th century, rare in Portugal. The dependencies are organized around a central courtyard, with characteristics of military and residential architecture. The keep and some wall sections stand out. At the base, there is a cushioned ashlar from the Roman period. Above the portal of the castle-citadel are the coat of arms of the marquises of Alvito.
