The Portuguese Toy Museum is located in Casa do Arnado, on the right bank of the Lima River, next to the Roman bridge. It features a permanent exhibition of toys of Portuguese origin, dating from the end of the 19th century and extending until 1986. You can also appreciate the different manufacturing techniques and raw materials used in their design. Do not leave without going through the magnificent garden to the "Sala das Brincadeiras" and the "Oficina do Brinquedo", as well as the space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Museum located in the historic area of Melgaço, in the former police building. Here you can admire thousands of posters and photographs, silent film time machines, more modern equipment and many films. A vast collection donated to the municipality of Melgaço by Jean-Loup Passek, passionate about the village. Passek directed the cinematographic department at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris and was director of the La Rochelle Film Festival. The museum contains a permanent exhibition area, with a small auditorium, and an area dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

This includes a theme park at the beginning of the 18th century, an ancient farm, populated with more than a hundred varieties of birds, ponies and goats, dwarf the re-creation of a distillery of medronho and a coal yard, you can also visit a mine off of ore extraction. The open pit contains, according to geologists, especially iron and copper but also barium. In the next Gallery, the water to be removed from the wells that are being excavated and a car full of ore circulates on the tracks aided by a worker.

Located in the neighborhood of portela, this forge has about 70 years and is a good place to learn about the tradition of the region. Belonging to a family's flagship in the transformation of iron, even today it is possible to visit it (being active) and take a piece of memory. Here you can see the transformation of iron, since it is heated in the furnace until it hit the pestle, a large plunger activated by a pedal. In the end, if it's a small part, the mould is done on the anvil, and finally the piece sauced and cooled …

From this fortress, built at the end of the 16th century, one can view almost the entire Vila Nova de Milfontes. Originally built with a polygonal plan, with canon areas and two triangular bastions, it was damaged in seevarl ways in 1638. During the reign of D. João IV it underwent changes and its military capacity grew bigger. A model of the military mannerist architecture, it was later turned into a residence and a medieval turret with battlements was added to it. Currently, the trench and the walls are surrounded by vegetation and flowers.

The farm, with 70 hectares of vineyards, is used for residential and tourist purposes, for residential and commercial tourism, as it exports and sells Vintage Port and red and white wines that bear the name of the farm. The manor is a large and elegant building from the beginning of the 18th century superimposed on a building from the 15th/16th century of which traces can still be found.
