The Torre de Menagem (donjon) was built by D. Dinis order in 1324. The tower and the enclosed space were used as royal prison from the XIV to the XVIII century. The inside, completely remodelled with a modern iron and wood structure, lodges an interesting museological nucleus, which illustrates the medieval military techniques and the fighting instruments. The castle can be also known through a series of audiovisual documents.

These ancient firewood ovens, built in the early 20TH century 20, testify to the work and the art of potters that here amassavam, and coziam served the clay, which is then used to coat the houses on the island. In 2007 were recovered and can now be seen properly.

Built in the early 15th century, it underwent restoration work in 1761 and 1896. It has ten arches supported by sturdy pillars with carved columns. The two central arches are from the 18th-century renovation, while the others are from the original construction.

The village of Alvito da Beira is believed to be of Moorish origin. According to historians, it was the Arabs who introduced the first olive groves to the region. These reached such a size that by the early 20th century, there were 10 olive presses in the parish. Small walls were built to protect the olive trees, of which traces still remain. In terms of architectural heritage, the main church, cross, old fountain, Mó fountain, Dáspera fountain, and Sobrainho fountain stand out. Crafts include weaving, tinsmithing, hand-made shoemaking, and blacksmithing.

Located on a counterfort of the Gardunha mountain, between the valley and the foothill, this is one of the oldest villages in the parish. The romanesque church with ulterior details, the chapels of the Holy Spirit, Saint Pelágio, Our Lady of Conceição, Our Lady of Amparo, Saint Tiago, Saint Sebastian and Saint Catarina, the House of Saint peter, the custody, the 16th century houses and the fountains of Figueiredo and of the Rua da Fonte (Fountain Street) stand out. Very simple religious monument, with different traits than usual in this type of construction. The entry is preceded by a porch and perfect round arches in 3 sides. Inside stands the shale and pavement structure early Mannerist altarpiece, despite having been mischaracterized.

Calvary with 14 crosses, of great simplicity, based on pedestals with inscription corresponding to the respective step of the Via Sacra. The access is made by wide stoop composed of twelve flights of eleven steps. The chapel was moved in the early 18th century, but retained the Mannerist moth.

Rock station where we can view the Constitution of several panels on shale outcrop with rough surface. The motifs are represented, horseshoes, cruciform dimples and a podomorfo. The engravings were performed according to the technique of abrasion and dating from the Early Bronze age.
