Opened in 1982, it was a shopping center in the city for many years. Nowadays, stores became studios and rehearsal rooms, now being born as a kind of musical incubator in Porto. There are more than 100 rooms from which various musical styles come from and some artists, such as Manuel Cruz, from Ornatos Violeta, have their name associated with the space.

The PDO restaurant is situated in the historical centre of the city, in the building of the Palace of Arts, presenting itself as a beautiful and elegant space. In April 2014, the chef Rui Paula decided to change the concept of the restaurant, taking into account the opening soon of its new space in Leça da Palmeira. Thus, in the DOP, Rui Paula presents now what defines as "Food with Memory".

Spacious, cement floored area with a few well looked after flower beds. It has benches and, at the centre of the garden, a fountain.

A modern and sophisticated space, located at the Torre beach, with very good looking interiors and a balcony over the sand, rather pleasant.

A large, good looking space, devoted to national and international cuisines. It has a large terrace and a small bar. For the youngest, there is a playground.

The space, simple but good looking, has a friendly service, a menu mostly based on grilled meats and a varied wine list.

Small garden-like square, with several commercial establishments around it. At the centre rises a statue paying homage to Joaquim António de Aguiar.

Bronze statue with about 3 metres height, by Álvaro de Brée, paying homage to Queen Dona Leonor, opened in December 1958.

Bust of Catarina Eufémia set on top of a stone pedestal with about 2 metres height. It was built in 1976 paying homage to Baleizão people.

Set of two statues, placed in front of each other, though apart, in opposite sidewalks, as if they were say goodbye. It pays homage to soldiers.
