This 16th-century chapel was built on the site where, according to tradition, Friar Rodrigo and Friar Romano arrived in the 12th century, bringing the image of Our Lady of Nazaré from Mérida. This monument evokes the ancient legend of cingeleiro. Pray this legend in the middle ages, a group of cingeleiros found a slab with the face of Christ Crucified, while going out there plowing the fields.
