The early Church dates from 1260 and was founded inside the castle of Borba and was delivered to the military order of Avis. However, in 1420, was built this church, where it is currently, by coming near the Virgin Mary. In its interior there are ten chapels, each belonging to a fraternity, with heritage of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with emphasis on the Chapel of souls, composed of three marble altars.

A nice green space, located in a quiet area by the river Guadiana. This garden has flowerbeds with grass and pathways in Portuguese floor. From here, on can enjoy a nice view of Spain, which is on the other side of the river.

Sports complex where a headquarters building and a training building, consisting of four fields lawns, a field naked, a synthetic field and a Sports Pavilion. Here are practiced several sports, ranging from football to martial arts.

Building dating from the late 19th century, consisting of three floors, with the Bay Windows on the first floor. This construction comes up to our days to testify the importance that the Horta was the provider Center steamships docked here.

Building with eclectic architecture, consisting of two floors, built in 1892. The front is topped by the coat of arms of the Republic. The entire building presents the most typical characteristics of constructions from this period. The City Council operates here.

Near Foz de Alge (Alge river) are the Fragas or Penhas de São Simão. In addition to the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, you can see, from here, the ruins of blacksmiths, dating back to the 18th century.

The Case is a place great for snacking or simply rest. Here there are sofas and armchairs, and mild lights candles and unusual decor. On the menu are traditional Portuguese flavours. The wine may be the Cup and there are about 15 references to choose from.

The Zé da Mouraria is a typical restaurant da Mouraria, fado is the ever-present element, clearly visible in the dozens of references arranged on the walls. Are not here organized evenings of fado, but often arise from a spontaneous mode!

Farm dating from the early 17TH century, located south of the village of Rabo de Peixe, just fifteen minutes drive from Ponta Delgada airport. Over three hundred years it was home to a strong militia, a House of artists, a fifth of orange groves and a tea factory. The restoration took place between 2005 and 2008, resulting in a set of eight T1 's, a diving school with a swimming pool and various common spaces multiúsos.
