The result of nearly 30 years of collecting around play, this museum allows visitors to get closer to children's imaginations and the fond memories of adults.

This is the first power station built in Portugal, dating from the 20TH century. It lies on the river Alva, getting water into a channel and returning it to the river.

Quinta da Coutada, in Peniche, offers 36 rooms fully equipped, including accommodation properly adapted to disabled people. Built on the occasion of the Portuguese World Exhibition, the ostentatious Padrão, a work by Leopoldo de Almeida, rests on a compass rose and its design in the form of a caravel is imaginative. Of the Romanesque construction of this important monastic church, first by the Canons Regular and later by the Dominicans, we can only point out the structure of the chancel, where the rose window stands out. All the rest of the monastic set, valuable for its artistic capital and for its local and regional influence, is the work of the Modern Period. We highlight the Baroque interventions that reveal a period of space revitalization in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The façade is ended by two robust towers. The inside is covered with rich materials and encloses some canvas and the tomb of Queen Dona Mariana Vitória, sculpted by Machado de Castro.

This municipality is rich in water resources, particularly waterfalls. Located in Vale Covo, the waterfall boasts a considerable height (327 meters), making it ideal for sport fishing on the Unhais River.
