Situada no centro histórico de Avis, surge da remodelação de uma casa nobre alentejana do século XVII. Caracterizada por um estilo “happy-chique”, proporciona aos seus hóspedes ambientes tranquilos e confortáveis, tanto no inverno como no verão.

For some time, it was thought to be the ruins of the Church of Santa Maria of the village, the oldest parish church in the village. However, after archaeological surveys in 1983 and 1992\/1993, was concluded to be another building, maybe the previous jail or Paços do Concelho. Remains standing a block in mushroom-shaped masonry.

Cruzeiro com três degraus e uma base quadrada suportando a cruz, todo em granito. No meio da cruz existe um quadrado no qual se encontra escrito "Pelas Almas". Tem quatro blocos de granito em volta do cruzeiro.
