A large mall, the biggest outlet in Europe, open since 2004. It features the best brands at great discounts. Besides the shops, there are also restaurants, themed bars, cafes and much liveliness with frequent events.

This wonderful country house is placed in an area of outstanding beauty (UNESCO 2001). There are many beautiful walks to the Douro River, through vineyards and valleys. There are opportunities to visit (and taste) the local wines and ports – surely the best you will find. You will have the opportunity to experience the culture, the scenery and the history of this wonderful region, well known for the richness it has shown since the foundation of Portugal. The famous Portuguese writer Miguel Torga described the Douro region as “an excess of beauty”.

Mount Portugal an agricultural property with about 350 hectares. The ancient dwellings of the workers of the estate were adapted and are today prepared to receive guests apartments, keeping the original rustic features.

Church of 1424, who suffered expansions and modifications over the centuries, and is today an interesting work of popular architecture, with gilded Baroque altar and sacristy of square plan with half dome orange.

Bridge constructed in granite masonry, without guards and with cobblestone pavement. Served the mills that stood in its proximity, on the left bank, taking advantage of the slope of the banks. Today are already in disuse.

This is one of the small villages of the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain, at an altitude of 580 metres. Most of its inhabitants are farmers these days, even though the culture of linen used to be an activity until quite recently. The houses are made of granite, which is an architectural feature of this region. Nearby, one may visit the Caldeirão dam or practise mountaineering.

Mount São Mamede has an altitude of 750 meters, offering one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Minho region. Besides the phenomenal view, you can visit the Church of Fontarcada, the monasteries of Tibães, Rendufe and Bouro, the Castle of Lanhoso, the Torre dos Machados, and the sanctuaries of Sameiro, Senhora do Pilar and Porto de Ave.

A village where most of the houses are made of granite. The monuments include the mother church with a procession cross and several linen panels with the scenes of the Passion, the pillory, the chapels of Saint António, Saint Bárbara, Our Lady of Penha and Our Lady of Consolação, the old prison and the menhir. The local craftswork includes the manufacturing of baskets.

Due to the rocky base of the wall's sections, the citadel's fortifications are irregular. Inside the fortress, highlights include the Chapel of Santa Bárbara, the round bastion, the large cistern, the casemates, and the entire parade grounds. The citadel served as a political prison from the 18th to the 20th centuries. This space houses the National Museum of Resistance and Freedom.
