The Municipal Park of Alagoa is located opposite Praia da Conceição, just outside the city of Horta. Nothing like combining the beach with the greenery surroundings to spend a relaxed day. Offers playground, picnic Park and a multiúsos field.

The Chafariz da Mina is placed on a platform in a level superior to the pavement of the square and presents two circular ajutages that flow into two tanks. The remaining water is canalized to the other ajutages that flow into a quadrangular tank used as a horse-trough.

Originally devoted to the Senhora da Piedade, it also welcomed the Senhora do Ó, a pregnant Virgin, when the chapel where it used to be was destroyed. The Frontispiece has several ornamental, which frame the portal and a niche with an image of the Virgin.
