In the historic centre of Serpa was built this House, next to the Doors of Beja, built in the 19th century by the current owners. The traces of its construction are typically Alentejo. Where once they were ironed the bread, if kept the oil and firewood, which made the sausages and acondicionavam males and cars, were installed the rooms and halls, with the particularity of having access to the backyard, views of the wall and to the aqueduct.

This is a manueline and mannerist church composed by two sacristies, a mortuary house and a bell tower. The main façade presents a portico in full arch, with pilasters framed on the sides. On the interior it presents one only nave with five openings and six ranks with perfectly vaulted arches, standing out the Steps Chapel with cribbed vault, pulpit, three altars and slab pavement.

The façade is typical of 18th-century art, with a door topped by an oculus and topped by a curved pediment, flanked by a bell tower. The interior is lined with tiles depicting jars and dolphins, dating from 1726. The gilded altarpiece of the main altar houses an image of Our Lady of Conception, the church's patron saint. Attached to the church is an interesting museum featuring sacred art.
Palácio Pombal

Construction ordered by the grandfather of the Marquês de Pombal, it is a palace from the XVII century with improvements made between 1760 and 1770. Besides its architectonical and artistic value, it also has the historic importance of being the birth place and house of the Marquês de Pombal. Its two main façades envelop an interior garden. There are two large gates facing north.

The façade of this building follows two different lines, one with several windows and doors around a central vertical body, and the other with several windows with iron grates. The back of the building was turned into a leisure and spiritual refuge area with three interesting architectural features: a small Swiss chalet (The Tea House), a revivalist and eclectic chapel and an interesting traingualar building, named the Hothouse.

A 16th-century church, rebuilt in the 18th century after the 1755 earthquake. It features a Renaissance portal, and its interior is extremely simple, with a single nave and a triumphal arch. The altarpiece in the main chapel, a polychrome woodwork decorated with gilded Baroque carvings, is noteworthy. One of the church's wings currently houses the Monsenhor Manuel Francisco Pardal Museum of Sacred Art.

The current building dates from the late 17th century\/early 18TH century, rising till then in the 16th century, the primitive Church location from which only the holy water and sink some hispano-Arab tiles reused. It is a Mannerist style church with nave and vaulted chancel, which currently houses the Municipal Library entries pole of Castro Verde.

Casa do Paço was founded in the 15th or 16th century, while the chapel was probably built in the first half of the 18th century. In 1997, this Palace opened to the public as the unit of Turismo de Habitação.
