This large, religious-style architecture is an example of one of the most symbolic Baroque monuments of the reign of King João V, built in 1753. The church we see today replaced a chapel. Among other notable features are the tiles from the second half of the late 18th century that decorate the walls; inside, the two marble altars of various hues are another highlight. The week-long pilgrimage to the Lord Jesus of Mercy takes place every year around September 20th.

This 16th-century building retains its hall-church structure. The church stands out for its large dimensions, the creation of a unified space, and the influence of formal solutions taken from treatises that recall one of the elaborate creations of the Plain Architecture in the south of the country. Inside, some proto-Baroque altars and a set of paintings by André Reinoso deserve special mention. Also, noteworthy are the gilded and polychrome altarpieces, the tile panels, and the statuary. It was rebuilt in 1590 on the site of the original church of Santiago Maior.

Inserted in the heart of the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve, this space constitutes an extraordinary viewpoint over the Sado Estuary and surrounding areas. It is possible to observe cork oak forests, salt marshes and rice fields where an important community of fauna can be observed, both resident and migratory, and it is also possible to observe fishing activities. Here you can visit an archaeological site from the Roman period that is around 2000 years old, where the area of the probable pottery is defined.

The ComFusão restaurant, in Covilhã, has live music, from rock to fado, has customers in delirium in the days of football and also a letter of gins, that fashion has already spread to all corners of the country. The Creperie La Bombarde is a space provided for anyone who enjoys crepes and want to try other delicacies typical of the Kingdom, as the galettes (savoury crepes), cider or the homemade caramel. In an intimate space, decorated in a simple but modern, with soft colours, a vintage floor, the comfort of wood, a counter facing the window, it creates a welcoming environment conducive to taste the speciality of the House: a delicious crepe accompanied by a cider. The crepes are made by hand, in special discs, with ingredients coming directly from France and respecting the original recipe.
