The Fonoteca Municipal do Porto (FMP) is a sound archive and a public space for music appreciation made up of the collection of vinyl records from the city of Porto. Music lovers will find here a representative archive of a large part of the record production in Portugal, records imported by international artists and works with non-musical content, such as poetry or political speeches.

These are the remains of an ancient Roman castle, built on a site overlooking the city. Of the original medieval fortress, only a few sections of the wall remain, some integrated into other buildings and not always visible. At the top of the walls is the Portas do Sol viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the region and where it is possible to appreciate a work of urban art.

There were four gates of the city, some have already destroyed, but keeping the names of antiquity. It's still the portas de Santo António, located to the Northeast, today enters the city. The Wicket is a small Gothic door, situated to the East, checking in only the pawns. To the Southwest is the fence gate, in good condition and to the North are the doors of Nossa Senhora do Amparo.

This defensive wall ended by the São Tiago Fortress, with a door giving access to the sea, from which there are still some remains in the access to São tiago beach. With the construction of Campo Dom Carlos I, the walls of this part of town were destroyed and there’s only a section left between São Tiago Fortress and Largo do Corpo Santo.

This Park, located nearby the river Orchards, have access to beautiful and calm river beaches, where you can have fun and relax in lawns, or even doing trekking. Is the ideal place to enjoy a family holiday, in direct contact with nature. Alternatively you can always visit the historic village of Piódão or the always interesting city of Coimbra.

The Medieval Sarcophagi are located in Vila Cova à Coelheira, more precisely on Avenida do Brasil (next to the Main Church). They date back to medieval times but are displaced from the location of the archaeological find. These sarcophagi are carved from granite blocks in an advanced state of deterioration, they belonged to the cemetery of the old church of Vila Nova à Coelheira.

After following the municipal road, access to this site is gained on foot via an approximately 50 metre long trail. This 30 metre high waterfall is found in the environs of Fóia, located at the beginning of Ribera do Barbelote. From the peak, the highest point of the mountain range at 902 metres, one can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.

A group of dunes and cliffs that protect the Bay of São Martinho do Porto. It is located at 19 kilometres from Alcobaça and it is a geographical accident that, because of its shape, like a perfect shell, is unique in Portugal and in the rest of Europe. It has a three kilometres long stretch of sand and it is located between the Santana hillock to the south and the Farol hillock to the north.

A dome shaped dam, on the Cávado river, built in 1955 for the production of electricity. The reservoir is one of the loveliest in Portugal, located on the southern borderline of the Gerês National Park. The best panoramic view of the valley and of the reservoir is from the Pedra Bela Belvedere, to the right from the Caldas do Gerês. Sports and leisure are authorized, even though only in certain areas.

Located about a kilometer from the coast, the islet and the sea surrounding Vila Franca do Campo are a natural reserve. Its shape is due to the action of marine erosion on a volcanic cone. Between the months of June and September, there is a boat connection between the port of Vila Franca and the islet, so that people can enjoy the natural pool with clear waters.
