Building dating back to 1920, single floor and four facades, each with a central turret. The inside awakens attention thanks to 12000 tiles lining the interior, designed by a. p. Gomes, in addition to decorating the turrets, also in shades of blue and white, representing the four seasons. There are pediments, on street corners, depicting the market and the activities that this represents.

Isolated in the middle of the Lezíria, religious, Baroque architecture, the Church of our Lady of Alcamé is erected under a raised platform to prevent the entry of water. Designed by the architect José Manuel de Carvalho and Slavers and 18th-century House, was built by the first Patriarch of Lisbon. It consists of nave and chancel at the same height, corresponding to double the sacristy and the Bell access. The altar is dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

The space features four permanent exhibitions: one about the industry and the economic activities, another about theatre, writing, history and music related people, an ethnographic exhibitions and also an exhibition about sports.
