A hill of the Minho province. It is located near the Lima river and separates the municipalities of Viana do Castelo, Ponte do Lima and Paredes de Coura. It is mostly granitical. It reaches its peak on a plain, at an altitude of 800 metres, and it is 13 kilometres long.

Large green space offering beautiful views over the serra de Sintra, Arrábida and Monsanto, Tejo bar, 25 April bridge, Costa da Caparica and Cape Espichel. It is the highest point of the County, with 215 meters above sea level.

The Paiva River rises in the Serra da Nave, in Moimenta da Beira, and flows into the Douro, in Castelo de Paiva. It was once considered the least polluted river in Europe and remains a spawning ground for trout. It offers opportunities for hydrospeed and other water sports.

Located near the village of Piódão, this is where the Ribeiras de Piódão and Chãs D´Égua meet, creating a magnificent water mirror. The setting could not be more beautiful, with the proximity of two mills, a wine press and blocks of stone carved by the current of the streams.

Small beach between the cliffs, that owes its name to a shepherd who lived here. To get here you may take a boat, go down the cliff or, if there is low water, you find an access through the Barranco de Canas beach.

Praia da Mata Nacional das dunas de Mira. An isolated beach, surrounded by lush pine trees and dunes dotted with greenery, known as Praia Dourada. Very calm and idyllic, it has a sandbar that, at low tide, creates small lagoons.

Restaurant belonging to the Inn of the same name, entered the monastery of Santa Maria de Aguiar, a monument dated to the 11th century. It offers an extensive and exquisite dining room, with glass walls offering beautiful views, where regional and international dishes are served.
