Late Romanesque church, which formerly housed the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela. Inside, there are some graves inlaid in the wall, shaped chapels. Highlighted by a 18th century image of Santa Maria of the chestnut tree.

In this Church, dating from the 17th century, the interior features a Chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Penha de França, with an altarpiece in polychrome gilded woodwork, 18th century tiles and a stone coffered vault.

Primary school opened in 1934 and restored in 1955, when it was then installed the Junta de Freguesia of Forjães, the Social and Cultural Centre, an auditorium and the Municipal Library. In 2004, was inaugurated here the leisure lounge Hall Faraz.

This building is integrated at the “Bairro dos Fabricantes” and the drawing of this bock of buildings was signed by the Marquês de Pombal in 1759. The building was part of a manufacturing set where the morphology of the quarters and the typology of the buildings were well defined.

Chapel dating from the 16TH century, probably in 1521, and reformed in 1726 by Luiz de Valladares Sotto Mayor. It consists of a single nave with altar and outdoors by a built in Bell 90 years of the 20th century.

Possible megalithic monument located about 150 metres from the castro de Serraquinhos. Is partially cut off by a path, not presenting central depression, common in most of these monuments, but checking if remains of lytic Cuirass.

Igreja da Misericórdia de longitudinal plant consisting of a single nave with chorus-alto, a lower chancel and narrow and a vestry located near. In the past, owned a hostel, one of the three existing in Beira Baixa.

Here, at the Mesquita site, José Vicente de Brito, a São Paulo poet, was born and lived. In his memory, a verse of his was placed in Poço Velho. The site honors the poet, who died in 1957.

Pelourinho de Vila Cova à Coelheira has a platform of six steps on which rests an octagonal monolithic column with four-sided base. The capital is decorated with mascarões and the base of the cage is of octagonal section.

Medieval graves located next to the Main Church of Castelo de Penalva. These open graves are protected by a fence made up of a chain. Stones belonging to the original church can be found around the archaeological site.
