This bronze statue, built by the late José de Oliveira Ferreira, is located on a granite pedestal that is about one metre tall. Located in the centre of the Jardim das Mães (Mothers' Garden) it means to pay tribute to all the mothers.

Statue built to pay homage to the poet and pedagogue João de Deus (1830-1896). It is sited in a place called the “poets’ retreat” where also are several statues and effigies of famous poets that have been in the students’ city.

The original temple was built in the 13th century, and rebuilt in the 16th century. In 1888 suffered a fire, having been restored and expanded. In the interior, especially the Tomb Chapel of Dom Afonso de Aguilar and for an altarpiece dedicated to Saint Michael.

A gracious column that is a tribute to independence, as on can read on the base. It is located in the area that leads to the graveyard, above a platform with four steps. On the top there is an iron cross that resembles the fleur de lys. The crucifix is destined to the "Via Sacra" processions.

Built in the XVI century, it owns an austere front, accordingly to the canons of the Companhia de Jesus. Inside, on the contrary, it is decorated with carvings, painting, glazed tiles and marbles that make up an important set of the mannerist and baroque decorative arts.

The Church of the Venerable Ordem Terceira de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, one of the most important religious monuments in the Algarve, was inaugurated in 1719. The Capela dos Ossos, inside it, was built in 1816 with bones from a nearby cemetery.

Temple of the mid-16th century, restored in 1796. This copy of mannerist architecture is situated in the city centre and features a facade of Pombaline trait. Deserves reference to 18th-century carvings and paintings on canvas, attributed to Josefa de Óbidos.

Traces of the door that was the set walls amaze yourself de Caminha. Are only visible to the two pillars of the door bracket. This is one of the components of that wall, which ran the extension between the mouth of the river Coura and the estuary of the Minho river.

This monument to honor the five parishes of Castro Verde: Casével, Castro Verde, entries, São Marcos da Atabueira and Santa Bárbara de Padrões. Features five spheres, the larger being the county seat: Castro Verde.

The two bridge-piers, from 1843, are all that’s left of the bridge that would be replaced by the D. Luís Bridge. Between 1843 and 1887 this bridge secured the river crossing between the Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia Cities.
