Deeply altered in the Modern Age, the Church of São Cristóvão, in the former municipality of Nogueira, is structurally a medieval, late Romanesque building, from which the axial portal and, on the sides, corbels, cornices, and frieze sections survive. Inside, the work of the main altarpiece and collateral altarpieces is notable, although most of this integrated heritage has been profoundly altered by recent interventions.

Cinquentist palace sited at the Coimbra wall, between the Almedina Arch and the Anto Tower. It includes the Casa de Baixo (Institute) and the Casa de Cima (private). Adapted from a medieval tower, it has an interior organization close to the Middle Ages buildings. Outside is the magnificent manueline portal, which is now used as an entrance to the University of Coimbra Archaeology Institute.

Chapel of longitudinal plant with articulated and differentiated coverage volumes in gabled roofs. Features a unique ship, a high choir based in columns and a main altar in gilt. It was built in the early 18th century, suffering after rebuilding works in 1761.

Church of Manueline, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, consisting of a single nave with a Manueline vault of three bays. The initial construction was built in the Medieval Age, after being rebuilt in the early 16th century. The medieval portico and the Manueline ribbed Vault.

Manueline building built in the early 15th century and remodeled in the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Presents two storey rectangular plan with three roof water coverage. Initially, functioned as a hostel and, currently, are there some municipal services and the tourist office.

Placed on the north side of Rossio, the National Theatre Dona Maria II, which name pays homage to the daughter of Dom Pedro, was built in the 1840s by the Italian architect Fortunato Lodi. The façade of this neoclassic building is composed by six columns coming from the São Francisco Convent and is ended by a triangular fronton where the figures of Apollo and the Muses are sculpted. On top of the fronton is possible to see the statue of Gil Vicente, maybe the most important Portuguese dramaturge of all times, considered to be the father of the national theatre.

This parish was born from the recent Administrative Division of the Municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo, in 1988. Its settlement took place in very early times, perhaps in the Miocene period, according to some studies carried out by the City Council. The Romans left in this area evident marks of the new civilization that they transported to the Iberian Peninsula, and which, in the case of Canhestros, took place at a very late period. This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.
