The region of Faro has been becoming increasingly cosmopolitan. Continues to be more popular as a tourist attraction in the summer, but increasingly in other capital gains not only the beaches. Its picturesque historic centre, the Castle and the walls are visiting points that any searches. Also the asset level is very rich, like the chapel of our Lady of good hope, the Capuchos convent, the Cathedral of Faro, the Igreja da Misericórdia or even the Villa Romana de Milreu.

On a platform next to the River, on an ancient Roman necropolis were still visible a few decades the ruins of a chapel that the tradition called São Sebastião. The construction of the high school and a Sports Pavilion have motivated an archaeological intervention, which in turn led to change the deployment of new equipment. Today, on site, plus a part of the Roman necropolis can be visited, is open to visitors the chapel of St. Sebastian, completely rebuilt, where is exposed the main espolio exhumed.

Between the sea and the serra de Aire e Candeeiros, Parque de Campismo rural da Silveira is located in a former farmhouse, decorated of eucalyptus and cork trees. Features numerous green spaces where you can breathe fresh air and a covered area with tables, where you can also prepare your meals in grills. Visit the Alcobaça Monastery a few kilometres away or enjoy sea bathing on the beaches of Nazaré.

The Green Park, located in Fontainhas, is a green space with beautiful lawns, ideal to enjoy your holidays or weekends away from the hustle of big cities. Enjoy to play with the kids, catch the afternoon sun or prepare meals outdoors, socialising with friends. Here you will have access to all services of the Park, from the swimming pool, gym, Auditorium, restaurants and market. Enjoy and visit the archaeological site of Coina or moinho da maré de Corroios.

The campsite Quinta da big key is a green space with a magnificent view of the Valley. Here you will be able to experience the daily life of a rural village, exploring the market and local food agricultural trade, with the possibility to participate in the feast of harvest. Try camping in the shade of the vines, fig trees, mimosas, chestnuts, among other trees that abound in the fifth. Be sure to visit the Manor of Arms and the dam of Távora, with countless nautical activities at your disposal.

The Chalense House restaurant is located in coimbra and may well be the first place to visit in the city, since it is very close to the train station. Only serves lunches and snacks, close to dinner, and there are days with certain menus, such as Thursday, cooked. On the other days there's always ham chanfana or cod with roasted potatoes for €6. For snacking, make up your mind between the gizzards, folded, the ear, the liver of onions or fried streak, with values up to € 5.

The Midori restaurant continues to be one of the leading Japanese restaurants in Portugal. It has modernized, bet on several menus, but always with a quality seal far above average, excellent in many options. Interesting merger proposals can be a good approach. The restaurant was created in honor of four Japanese princes who visited Penha Longa in the sixteenth century, and in order not to detract from Japanese cuisine, all chefs come from or receive training in Japan.

The pedestrian walk may start at the Monastery of Saint João of Arga, after a brief visit of that building. Follow the Vezeira Trail, a typical trail where the cattle used to pass in the days of old. The Arga Mountain has a wide high plain on the top, the Chã Grande. At that point, there is a trail that is signaled by the Clube de Celtas do Minho (Celts Club of Minho), according to the criteria of the Federação Portuguesa de Campismo (Portuguese Camping Federation). It is a small walk.

Situated in praça da Ribeira, in the historic area of the city, this space occupies part of a block of buildings that date back to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The set of buildings is classified as a Unesco World Heritage site and lies on the River Douro. It offers 45 rooms and 3 suites decorated with refinement, a restaurant and a bar. From here you can discover the historic center, take a cruise on the Douro River or visit the port wine cellars, on the other side.
