The Cruzeiro São Domingos (calvary), also known as Cruzeiro de Nossa Senhora da Glória is from the end of the XV century. The original is inside the Aveiro Cathedral since the 70ies. It is a quattrocentist calvary with scenes of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ sculpted in low relief.

On the north side of the village, the entrance was through this door. The inscription on the tombstone that at the top of the monument attests and glorifies the election of Nossa Senhora da Conceição as the patron saint of Portugal. Today it is one of the entrances to the fence of the Convent des Augustins, given the displacement of this door for traffic requirements.

These are also known as Roman Baths/Spa of alto da Cividade are located on the upper part in Cividade slope. They were discovered during the working excavations made during 1977. The building is placed in the 1st century and it is integrated on the urban renovation work of Flávia Braca Augusta.

The Mondego river has its spring on the Estrela mountain, municipality of Gouveia, at an altitude of 1425 metres. Between the spring and the mouth, the Mondego flows along around 220 kilometres. Its banks, between Coimbra and Figueira da Foz, are the most fertile lands in Portugal.
