The Teatro Regional da Serra do Montemuro (Regional Theater) was founded in 1990, the result of a meeting of local, national, and international artists, in the small village of Campo Benfeito, high in the Serra do Montemuro. It presents shows throughout the country, and this is where the company rehearses and occasionally performs.

Megalithic funerary monument in the Megalithic Necropolis of the plateau of Mourela, located about 50 metres from the crossing for 60\/Pitões das Júnias. Is partially cut in in difficult visibility, 513. Presents a slight central depression, being only a perceptive mainstay and faint traces of armor.

Megalithic funerary monument located on a hill overlooking the ribeira da Cambela. It is a large tumulus, about eleven metres, easy visibility in the landscape. Presents a "tumuli" high, a central depression very sharp, an extensive lytic armour and a retaining ring, not being visible traces of dolmen.

The church is dated from 1624, and is a characteristic monument of the baroque style. It lodges the tomb of João das Regras, classified as national monument. The classification of Public Interest Building includes other elements such as the transept retables and the cinquentist ark with the mortal remains of Vasco Martins de Alvergaria.

The Monastery of Nossa Senhora da Assunção de Tabosa was the last Cistercian monastery to be founded in Portugal. Integrated into the Douro nucleus of monasteries and convents of the Cistercian Order, in the extreme south of the Varosa valley, and located in the so-called "Lands of Devil", they maintain the spirit of silence and recollection of their foundation.

The Porta da Devesa dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries and forms an archway over Rua 5 de Outubro. Its name comes from the fact that it separated the town proper from the fertile countryside that followed it at the time, or even because it was the terminus of that same town.

The farm is also known as “Quinta de Diogo de Mendonça”, “Quinta do Visconde da Junqueira", " Quinta dos Côrte-Real" or "Quinta do Professor Lopo de Carvalho". The ashlar of glazed tiles and the retable of Quillard inside the palace chapel are worthy of notice.
