Small garden, from the XIX century, whose conception reflects an architectonics harmony. The trees surround the Monumento aos Mortos da Grande Guerra (monument to the First World War heroes).

The Gerês Mountain has five major water courses. But there are tens of fountains that "escape" that main network, with fine water springs along the mountain. The Quelha da Buraca fountain is one such example.

This route, which stretches over 5.6 kilometers, follows the winding lines of the cliffs located between Praia de Vale Centianes and Praia da Marinha. The route runs along a line of cliffs, interrupted by some lines of water, which flow above sea level, giving rise to "hanging valleys". Along the route, the visitor has the help of almost two dozen information panels, explaining the route and identifying the main points of interest.

This Park surrounds the magnificent Lagoa da Pateira, with its lush greenery and its maritime microclimate. The Park, designed by landscape architect Manuel Dias Vieira, features an outdoor amphitheater, pool, bar and parking.

A tributary of the Cávado river with a length of 37 km and an area of 257 km2. It has its spring on the Gerês mountain and includes the Vilarinho das Furnas dam, with a used capacity of its reservoir of 69.7 hhm3.

At the Parque da Lapa (Lapa Park) there are many different tree species, some quite aged, namely the Cedrus Deodara and the Cedrus Libani. Well located in the centre of town, by the Chapel of Lapa, with very comfortable benches.

Romantic garden placed next to the Galeria das Artes Liberais, from where you reach the chapel and then the Casa de fresco, with a circular draw decorated with sea shells, pieces of Ming china and anthropomorphic figures.
