This is one of the small villages of the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain, at an altitude of 580 metres. The project of an artificial tropical forest began in 1910. The Greenhouse opened in 1930 and has four spaces: three greenhouses and a walking area by the lake. It has vast tropical flora, with exotic species from the five continents. The decorative ambience has small grottos, statues, staircases and fountains. A very romantic place that deserves a visit.
