The nave has a full-round vault roof, and lighting is provided by the nave's large windows. The church's entrance portal, dating from 1755, is a meticulous Rococo piece.

The early Church dates from 1260 and was founded inside the castle of Borba and was delivered to the military order of Avis. However, in 1420, was built this church, where it is currently, by coming near the Virgin Mary. In its interior there are ten chapels, each belonging to a fraternity, with heritage of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with emphasis on the Chapel of souls, composed of three marble altars.

Its contents, a gift from Vilaflorenses over the years, are now the heritage of the local people, so that their "yesterday" remains alive, and future generations know that Vila Flor has a past that needs to be preserved.

Dwelling house consisting of a simple rectangular plan with two floors and with homogeneous coverage to four waters. Inside, there are some stairs near the main portal, giving access to the piano nobile. It was built in 1849, according to inscription on the lintel of the main portal.
