Buolt in 1640, the hermitage of Nossa Senhora do Pé da Cruz was renewed in the 18th century and there is still an interesting ornamentation of the baroque epoch in its interior. One should notice, in its back part, the Monumental Passo (oratorio regarding one of the parts in Christ's Passion), with a rare picture of the Senhor dos Aflitos in jaggy tiles.

A 15th and 16th-century building that belonged to the family of Afonso de Albuquerque, Viceroy of India. Together with its gardens and loggia, it forms one of the most important examples of civil architecture of the time. Of particular note is its significant collection of tiles. Its wines, Quinta da Bacalhôa and the Bacalhôa Palace, are very famous throughout the country.

This set of steps, or stations of the religious life, were originally seven when they were built in 1727. However, they were later transferred or removed, leaving only five: Step from Largo do Carmo, Rua de Santa Maria step, Step Largo João Franco, Step of the Senhora da Guia and Step the fair field.

Dated, possibly from the 14th century, nowadays there are only the ruins of the old medieval building of rectangular plant and 2 floors. It was the seat of Alcaidaria-Mor of the village, of the counts of Santa Cruz served as a hostel for several monarchs and him gathered cuts and if decided to historical events such as the construction of the University of Coimbra and Vasco da Gama's departure to India.

Granite bridge, built in the 17th century, by David Álvares, under which the waters of the River Coa go through. The name is due to the place where it flows, near Foz Coa, despite being formed in Foios, in Serra das Mesas and flowing into the Douro River. The bridge has 3 arches and connects the 2 banks of the river.

A rectangular Baroque fountain with a pilastered frontispiece topped by bonfires. It is located in a central spot in the village, in Praça da República. It features an 18th-century coat of arms flanked by two sculptures. The fountain has six spouts, represented by heads and lions, named the Spout of the Witches, Saint Anthony, Lovers, Kings, Saint Peter, and Saint John.

The longest river in the Iberian Peninsula, with 1009 kilometres. It starts in Spain, more precisely in Albarracim, at an altitude of 1593 metres, and flows to the Atlantic Ocean. Its estuary has around 262 sqaure kilometres, in the area of São Julião da Barra. It borders Spain in an extension of 50 kilometres. It has several tributaries, which lends it specificity and beauty.

The Mountain belongs to the Old Massif to the South of the Tejo and occupies the regions of Grândola and Santiago do Cacém. It has its highest peak at the Cume da Atalaia whre one can find the imposing ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Livramento. From the mountain one can view the ocean and the planes of the Alentejo region. It is 20 km long.

The longest river that rises and flows into the national territory (232 km) meets the sea in the city of Figueira da Foz, a fishing port and also a place for beaches, casino and tourism. The final section of the Mondego River runs between rice paddies, to finally meet the Atlantic Ocean. The river is "defended" on the right bank by the Santa Catarina Fort.
