Quinta do Panascal's reputation dates back to the 18th century, when wines from the Távora River were considered among the best in Portugal. Fonseca purchased the Quinta in 1978, as the estate had been supplying its grapes to Fonseca for over 20 years. Quinta do Panascal wines have always been an important component in the Fonseca vintage blend. In 1985 the size of the property increased with the acquisition of Quinta do Val dos Muros. The first references to the monastery date back to 994 in the will of Abbot Randulfo, fleeing a monastery further south during the incursions of Almanzor. Although the original church does not correspond to the current Romanesque temple, its architecture left its mark on the construction that would be erected in the 13th century, thus denoting a transitional style from Romanesque to Gothic. King Henry donated the monastery to the Ribadouro family, from which Egas Moniz came, who, in turn, bequeathed half of his fortune to the monastery to be buried there. The first word that comes to mind when describing the Serra da Estrela Natural Park is "diversity." Indeed, this massif located in the Central Region and encompassing the municipalities of Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas, and Seia, stands out for its diverse landscape throughout, in addition to being the largest protected area in Portugal, at 101,000 hectares. Urban ensemble formed by edifications of several periods, from the XVII century until the end of the XIX century. It begins at the Glória lift, where a palace (now used by the post) stands, and ends in a house belonging to the Ordem Soberana de Malta. Seize the opportunity to take a walk though the beautiful gardens on the area.

A 300 metres long pedestrian walk along the São Brás hill, with the peak at an altitude of 156 metres. This hill is surrounded by wide pine woods and is a privileged spot to view th city of Nazaré. It may be seen from a distance of 35 kilometres. It became a "Classed Site" in 1979, due to its flora.

Near the historic centre of Porto, and after passing the heavy velvet curtains, black Pherrugem, is a small, granite-walled and soft lights. Is an alternative space, with low prices and rock music, indie, and alternative. On Thursdays the rock is pure and hard, with appearances from some oldies like AC\/DC and Led Zeppelin.

This library has thirty thousand books, from the most important works to dictionaries and monographies. Its most valuable book is the printing of "Os Lusíadas" by Emílio Biel. There is an exhibitions room where there are temporary educational exibitions, conferences and music. Aside the library there is also a Museum with archaeological artefacts, clothings and regional craftswork.

Gathers all the conditions to receive a high diversity of events, from the pop-rock concerts, the case shows, as well as more intimate concepts of acoustic or jazz concerts, in addition to theatre or film projections.
