Mannerist and Baroque Temple, built on a 14TH century temple. Presents a single ship with a chancel and side chapels. The façade was heavily remodelled in the 18th century and the Bell Tower was built between 1954 and 1955. Especially the Head-reliquary of Saint Fabião, piece of jewellery from the 13th century, the popular tradition Associates to cure the evils of cattle.

Crossroads cruise probably built in the 15th or 16th century, dating back to the 19TH century shrine. The cruise consists of a pedestal box, a circular shaft, a spherical capital and a Latin cross. The shrines have a range from downed arch flanked by Tuscan pilasters, with cornice topped by a shell where you see a panel of Christ crucified.

Set composed of Church and convent. The Church is from the 17th century and the 18TH century convent, although the latter has never been finished. Has two bells, a luminous Cross and a small panel of azulejos (1940) depicting the Virgin Mary. Is located in morro alto, obtaining thus a panoramic view to the outskirts of the city. This church possesses a Romanic doorway with simple archivolts. The façade with a pyramidal tower and spire is the outcome from following changes. It only has one nave, three lateral altars and two collaterals that show gothic and renaissance interventions. One of the chapels founded in 1596 has a decorated arch with winged heads and a niche that includes a fifteen hundreds sculpture.

Celorico da Beira

The temple was built in the 13th and 14th centuries and renovated in the 18th century, still preserving its Baroque façade and two bell towers from that period. Notable features include the statuary and some paintings, the coffered ceiling with painted figures of saints, the 17th-century tiles, and the tombstones. During the third French invasion, it served as a field hospital for the English.

This church is one of the most notable examples of Romanesque Portuguese, being your turriforme massif, an original element built in the manner of a portico. While the head preserves own capitals of the 12th century, the construction of the ship and of the portico should date from the 13th century. Inside the Church, next to the triumphal arch, kept traces of mural painting.

Building dated from the end of the XVIII century, the former residence of the Carvalhal Counts. The seven wicker balconies in forged iron and the portal sided by two iron lanterns are worthy of notice. It worked as a hotel, a college and international club and is now the property of the City Council and headquarters of Regional Archive of Madeira, the Municipal Library, the Museum and the Municipal aquarium of Funchal.
