All the preserved villages at Armamar are part of a recovery project of the Rural Centre of São Martinho das Chãs. The village of São Martinho das Chãs is quite well recovered, both regarding the houses and the streets, with a perfect preservation of its rustic traits. This pedestrian path starts in Ribeira Quente and ends in the village, with a duration of about three hours.
