This hostel lies in the medieval walled town of Ourém, in a place with privileged view to the Valley of Ribeira de Seiça and to the shrine of Fatima. Results from the reclassification of a small set of medieval houses, carrying us to the middle ages. The area features must-see locations like the Natural Park of Serras de Aire e Candeeiros.

Situated at an altitude of 474 meters, Évora Monte Castle offers a beautiful view of the Alentejo plains. To the north, one can glimpse the Serra de São Mamede. To the south, the landscape is dominated by the houses of Évora and the Serra de Mendro. Further east, the verdant eucalyptus forest of Serra da Ossa paints the Alentejo landscape.

This is a viewpoint filled with evocative marble plaques bearing excerpts from poems by famous Portuguese authors who studied in Coimbra. It also has an area called "Retiro dos Poetas" (Poets' Retreat), with effigies of authors such as Eça de Queiroz, António Nobre, and João de Deus. It offers a magnificent panoramic view of the city.

Nesta região do país a matança do porco é um acontecimento muito popular. Surgem, por isso, naturalmente algumas receitas de doces inspiradas nessa tradição, como esta versão adocicada das famosas papas de sarrabulho, vulgarmente conhecida como sangue doce em Valpaços.

Produção artesanal de cerâmica para construção. O Telheiro é constituído por uma área plana em terra batida, a eira onde o tijolo de burro e outros materiais são fabricados e secos ao sol, sendo depois cozidos num forno à portuguesa.

Na Casa da Eira a antiguidade e a leveza do moderno aliam-se num ambiente acolhedor. Esta casa tem três quartos, três casas de banho, sala, casa de jantar, cozinha totalmente equipada. No exterior, a eira com vista para a floresta onde poderá repousar.
