Bust of homage to Alberto Veiga Simões, who was born on December 16, 1888 in Arganil. He studied law at the University of Coimbra and later embraced the career diplomat (Manaus, Pará, Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Brussels). Became famous as a writer and journalist. Died in Paris in December 1, 1954.

Bust of homage to Conselheiro José Dias Ferreira (1837-1907), professor of law, politician, Member of Parliament, Minister and President of the Council of Ministers (ruled for 404 days, during the reign of d. Carlos). José Dias Ferreira created the Constituent Party and he was a Deputy during 25 legislatures. Born in new village, in the parish of Pombeiro da Beira in November 30, 1837 and died in Vidago the September 8, 1907.
