The Hotel do Canal lies on the seafront of the city of Horta, with stunning views of the Bay and, in the distance, on the peak. Its decoration is inspired in maritime motifs-the sailboats, the bacalhoeiros and hydroplanes-which, in a way, tell the story of the island itself.
