In the idyllic Herdade da Malhadinha New space, very near Beja, is one of the few restaurants with cuisine from the region. The Malhadinha Gourmet is right at the entrance of the property, with a modern ambience and with design furniture. The Charter, the responsibility of the consultant chef Joachim Koerper, bet on the reinvention of the regional dishes using mostly products created and produced on the estate, as Alentejo beef, vegetables, PDO olive oil or wine.

The Sea restaurant in sight, in Ericeira, is located next to the beach of fishermen and, despite its name, little or nothing can be seen of this small house, with capacity of ten tables. Decoration and gastronomy of this establishment are typically from Alentejo. As the cold saldas, paio, the sausage and olives, here too the Alentejo's bread is part of the menu. In more substantial dishes has plenty to let yourself try: Acorda of cod, migas with spare ribs and with wild asparagus, tomato soups and cation, lamb stew (Saturdays) and cooked grain (Sundays). The conventual sweets couldn't skip dessert.

Although its dating is difficult, it is assumed to have been built during the late Romanesque period, judging by the construction technique, exhibiting a Gothic character due to its trestle-style deck. Formed by a single perfect arch, with the pillars rising directly from the banks (a feature that ensures greater longevity for Romanesque bridges compared to Roman ones) it provides communication between the villages of Bustelo and Boim.
