Source built in white marble, with niche in the Centre. The sink is small, rectangular and in granite, where water falls from a spout.

The Municipal Library of Sintra is composed of a general reading room, a papers and magazines area, an infantile and juvenile area, a room for babies, a telltale room, a multimedia and self-formation sector, an area where old documents are preserved, a reading area for blind and impaired people, a multi uses room, a gallery, a bar and tea room, a cybercafe, a municipal shop and a garden.

Until April 2005 the Municipal Library Florbela Espanca was located in the Palacete de Trevões (Trevões Manor). On May 2005 it moved to a new building, by the architect Alcino Soutinho, that has a reading room with papers and magazines, an adults room/local fund, infantole and juvenile, audiovisual; some books may be borrowed and there are photocopies, internet access, reading animation and library.

This space offers cardio and weight training rooms, sauna, hydromassage, tennis court, two swimming pools and squash room.
