José Félix Henriques Nogueira was a precursor of republicanism and socialism in Portugal. Was born in the parish of Two ports and, despite his early death, he produced a very significant work in the 19th century Portuguese ideological process. His most notable works were the Town in the 19th century and studies on reform in Portugal.

Built by master João Fernandes reveals Renaissance, Mannerist traits, and Gothic forms. The facade is topped by a triangular pediment and has the image of Saint Bartholomew. In the portal are the ionic columns that are based on ornate pedestals with the symbol of the martyrdom of the apostle. Inside the Church is of extreme beauty, especially the scenes from the life of Christ and varied reasons such as angels, birds, flowers, fruit and landscapes. Enhancement for the marbles and the Golden carvings, especially those of the high altar, designed by the master Manuel Nunes.

The monastery of Ferreira is a typical example of an ecclesiastical establishment of agrarian roots. It is a remarkable rural Romanesque construction dating from the last quarter of the 12th century. The facade is torn by a portal that is unparalleled in the Cathedral of Zamora. Its architectural ensemble is part the Church of S. Pedro de Ferreira, being your frame a single copy in the country. The interior is just one ship, with more than 15 meters in height. A monument of a unique beauty and a magnificent surrounding landscape.

Of the primitive construction remains the courtyard access portal, saving the stone weapons 1500s. The House and outbuildings, keep the cloth of the facade, the torrelas, the old Dovecote, the chapel in ruins and the barn. Building also known as Vila Cosme.

Chapel built in the XVI century, ordered by D. Pedro de Sousa. In 1970 it suffered remodelling works. Worthy of notice are the elements of the regional mannerism: the planimetry, the vaults and respective keystones and brackets, the fronton gridiron and the portal.

This baroque chapel, the ornamentation of the main façade and Windows that flank the portal that have frame in "ferronerie", topped by cornices contracurvadas. It also highlights an altarpiece in a niche with integrated double archivolt, one with traces of polychromy of marmoreados posers.
