There are two entrance doors to the former village: the door of the village and port of Santarem.

A quadrangular fountain covered by a porch supported by marble columns, with a pyramidal roof topped with a pine cone. It is topped with the coat of arms of Portugal and the municipality. The tank has four spouts in the center.

Source in moat of the fortress of Valença, on the West side, between Lapa and the bulwark of St. John. Since its founding, probably 15th century, was considered the main source of the village of Valença. It consists of irregular rectangle, two massive cocks and front tank. Nearby, owned two other tanks.
