This is a Mannerist convent with a church in the shape of a Latin cross, a single nave, and a two-story cloister. Due to its characteristics, it fits into the typology of the monumental 17th-century churches of classicist and erudite style in the Porto region. Chapel of popular architecture, being modest and with thick masonry plastered. It is prized by two portals carved in white marble and protruding rope type door jambs. Note also the frescoes from the 17th century and beginning of the 19th century in the vault of the chancel. It is also known as the Lord's Chapel of Senhor dos Passos or Wounds.

Baroque church dating from the 13th century, consisting of a rectangular nave, a chancel with vestry foursquare, an attachment and a baptistery. The main façade in gable is truncated with a Bell and a double arch portal with regular staves. In the interior, highlighted by the Mannerist and Baroque carved altarpieces of Johannine style.
