Rope-way teleferic opened in 2003, allowing the access to the fajãs (flat forelands that formed by lava flowing into the ocean and landslides and collapsing cliffs) at the Cabo Girão. It offers a lovely panoramic view.

With an excellent location on the sand, this welcoming bar with a wood decoration and panoramic windows is a reference spot on the sea shore of Vila Nova de Gaia. Open from 8 pm to 2 am.

Library installed in an 18th-century Manor House, adapted to such in 1987, open to the public since 1994. Includes monographs, documents, newspapers and 5000 copies of works loaned by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Opened in 2009, the Crasto de Palheiros Interpretive Center is located in the rocky outcrop of the castro itself and is intended to provide shelter for visitors as well as the information necessary for a guided tour of the archaeological station.

This space opened in 1957 and operated until 1991. In 1999, it was acquired by the Montijo City Council, underwent improvement works, and reopened to the public in 2005. A wide variety of cultural activities are held here.
