This space allows you to enjoy the natural landscape and biophysical features of Ponta do Sal. The Centre was designed to promote values such as biophysical diversity and scenic wealth that generates the meeting from Earth with the sea, associated with the didactic and training component. Here you can see the features of this stretch of Coastline, strolling in the pedestrian route, visit the arriba and discover the flora and fauna species there exist.

The Hotel Rural Casa dos Viscondes da Várzea, in the municipality of Lamego, is an example of Gothic-Manueline architecture of Portugal. The wonders that you can find on the site include a chapel with a Baroque altar, boxwood gardens and fountains. The 28 rooms and 7 Suites in the hotel are decorated with antique furniture and feature a luxury bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The decorative elements include stone railings and Baroque chalices.

The surrounding the banks of the Ribeiro do Fontão, whose meandering waters represent one of the most symbolic elements and more present in Botiquenses landscapes, presents itself as a unique space: the green of the gardens, reminiscent of the lush natural pastures, is crisscrossed by footpaths, hedges or trees, a mill, a drum and the sculpture to Miguel Torga, next to which are excerpts of his writings about the places of the municipality.

Located between the Estrela Mountain and the Lousã Mountain, the Açor Mountain has excellent views of the neighbouring valleys and of the outsanding geological differences, from the granie to the schist, from its peak, São Pedro do Açor, at an altitude of 1400 metres. Severeal belvederes are recommended, namely on the road that leads to Piódão or on the Gondufo landmark, but the best really is to hit the road and discover the mountain sceneries.

Urban set of medieval origin, where three distinct expansion zones can be seen. In the center, highlights include the Palace, the Church of São Mateus and the Casa da Cadeia. After passing Largos da Palha, Misericórdia and Cadeia, where these three monuments are located, head to Praça Nova, Rua António Duarte Pires, Rua Gil Vicente and Rua dos Clérigos.

Franciscan chapel founded in 1677, integrating the architectural ensemble of the Santo António Convent. In the 18th century, the walls were covered with tiles from the workshop of Vital Rifarto. The Casa do Despacho dates from 1682, with the sacred way being added to the outer walls in the 18th century. This architectural ensemble is well preserved, showing sobriety on the outside but a great wealth on the inside.
