The Old School House, in Vila Viçosa, is a 16TH century manor, purchased in 1602 by Dom Teodósio II, Duke of Braganza. It was the first home of the society of Jesus in Vila Viçosa. Today, gives rise to an exquisite accommodation, where the traces of the past coexist with comfort, in a classical atmosphere. Offers five double rooms and two suites, all with a view.
Dating from the 14th century, the Church was remodelled in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was the most important Temple of the village. Was made up of quadrangular, with vault and ogival arches ships 3. Today part of the left front with the Manueline portal, as well as part of the headboard.
