Este prato de bacalhau confecionado em Viana do Castelo apresenta um aspeto muito característico, assemelhando-se a um pastel folhado, com as lascas sobrepostas e muito alto. Tem ainda a particularidade de ser envolvido em couve lombarda, o que lhe confere um sabor distinto. Normalmente a refeição é acompanhada com broa de milho.

Start your tour at Praia do Aterro, with walkways between the dunes and passing by a Surf Camp, continuing along Praia da Senhora da Boa Nova, until you see the famous Farol da Boa Nova. Finish with a visit to the Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, designed by Siza Vieira.

Located in a valley adjacent to the Serra dos Candeeiros, it is bathed by a stream that originates in the picturesque site of Olhos de Água. Here, you'll find beautiful natural caves and rooms with stalactites, calcite crystals, and remains of bones. Among the architectural heritage, a megalithic dolmen (Property of Public Interest) attached to the church stands out, containing a fifteenth-century sculpture, and traces of Roman times, evident in the ruins of a communal oven.

Located on a cliff 400 meters above sea level, Alter Pedroso is an ancient village, six kilometers from the municipal seat (Alter do Chão) and around twenty from the city of Portalegre. Of particular note are the remains of the old castle, the church with baroque remains and the houses featuring popular and well-preserved architecture. Nearby there is a tourist hunting area. Also, noteworthy is the Talefe or Alter Pedroso natural viewpoint.

A medieval settlement that was once the seat of the municipality between 1120 and 1836, it boasts the castle, a former Templar fortification restored by Gualdim Paes. Also noteworthy are the keep and a wall, listed as National Monuments, the pillory, the main church, and the chapel of Nossa Senhora do Torrão, built into the rocks. A fortress sin the beginning of Portugal, it used to have a castle of which only the watchtower, a part of the donjon and some parts of the walls remain. A special note to the church of misericórdia, from the 16th century, with a manuelin portico, the pillory, the old Paços do Concelho, the convent and several chapels.
