A carved stone wall with a niche where you can see a Gothic-style Nossa Senhora is what remains, in the current Cathedral, of the former church of the Dominican convent (1423). Highlight for the side chapels, one with a limestone altarpiece, from the 16th century, and another with a carved wooden altarpiece where a statue of Nossa Senhora do Rosário appears. In 1719 a new Baroque façade was built and in the mid-18th century the high choir and roof were built, and the chancel was renovated. In 1860 the bell tower was built.

Reguengo do Fetal is located north of Fátima and is extremely well-known among climbers. With typical regional architecture, the main points of interest are the parish church (a Property of Public Interest), built in the 16th century with alterations in the 18th century, the chapels of Our Lady of Fetal and Saint Matthew, the wayside cross, and the Eay of the Cross. In October, the pilgrimage maintains the old tradition of the night procession illuminated by thousands of lanterns made from snail shells. Besides climbing, a hunting area for tourists can be found near the village.

Considered the largest archaeological crypt in the country, it is located beneath the Castle of Alcácer do Sal, now transformed into the Pousada D. Afonso II. It presents traces of the Iron Age dating from the 6th century BC, as well as structures from the Roman period and the Islamic occupation, covering a considerable area. Medieval walls from the post-Reconquista Christian era were also found, based partially on Roman walls which, in turn, overlap older pre-existing structures dating from the Iron Age.
