Temple founded in 1570 by the religious Agostinhos Calçados, in the place where the hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Luz existed. It was later sold to private individuals. Single-nave church with a floor plan almost like a Greek cross. It is made up of a chancel and two side chapels that end in painted domes with lantern tower. Highlights include the Renaissance portico, made of marble, with medallions in the corners and a shell pediment, as well as the galilee, formed by round arches based on granite columns. The bell tower is topped by a small dome.

A castle of probable Muslim construction, whose oldest written document mentioning it dates from the reign of King Sancho I, who ordered repairs to be made to the castle. Later, King Manuel I benefited from restoration works, marked by the insertion of the Manueline coat of arms on the castle walls. The alcazaba remains, with machicolations and loopholes protecting the entrance to the enclosure, and inside, a cistern. In the center of the citadel is the keep, with a square plan and a single floor. The walled enclosure, with two gates flanked by towers, completely surrounds the town.

This museum is located in the old hospital of Aljezur's Misericórdia, that dates back to the late 18th century and was later turned into a Elders Home. At a later time, the Home changed and the space has been occupied by the Religious Art Museum since 2000. It contains objects from Aljezur's Misericórdia, from the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Alva, some offers and acquisitions.

A baroque chapel known for its big yearly procession that takes place in the month of August. In 1674 it was the Chapel of Bom Jesus do Santo Sepulcro do Calvário, later it became Bom Jesus da Via Sacra and still later on it adopted its current name. Legend of Mary keeping it that after this have had seven sons, and as at that time considered themselves infidels women who had more than one son, this sent fire on six of its seven river newborns. However, the husband found out and sent the boys to be created in six villages of the municipality of Chaves. Ten years later, her husband presented the six boys Maria keeping it. There is also the legend, that the seven have become priests in seven villages of the municipality.
