For over 20 years, telling us where to eat (and sleep) at the highest level, in 2025 the Boa Cama Boa Mesa guide, published by Semanário Expresso, will once again show us the best hotels and restaurants in the country!

The restaurant industry shone with five Platinum Forks, 14 Gold Forks and 21 Silver Forks. In the hotel industry, six Platinum Keys, nine Gold Forks and 18 Silver Forks were awarded. The big names were not forgotten either: Nuno Diniz took home the Career Award, Pedro Lemos was named Chef of the Year, and Leonel Pereira was awarded the Sustainability Award, thanks to his exemplary work at the Check In by Leonel Pereira restaurant — a name that already promises gastronomic trips. Craveiral Farmhouse, in Odemira, was recognized with the Sustainability Award, proving that sleeping well and taking care of the planet can go hand in hand.

And since the future also has flavor, there are new additions and revelations: the Pedro Lemos restaurant in Porto and the Viceroy at Ombria Algarve hotel in Loulé won the 2025 Revelation Awards. João de Eça Lima, from Xisto (Penela), and Márcia Vilar, from Story Studio Sortelha (Sabugal), were recognized as the Revelation Personalities, respectively in the Table and Bed categories, making their first appearance in the guide.

If you are one of those who travels across the country just for a spoonful of a certain secret sauce, we have good news: All About Portugal has gathered for you the restaurants that received the most coveted cutlery of 2025 — five Platinum Forks and 14 Gold Forks. Bring your appetite and get ready for a journey of unforgettable flavors.

Jncquoi Avenida (Lisboa) - Golden Fork

It belongs to the Amorim Luxury group and is spread over two floors: the lower one is bar-style, slightly more informal, the upper one is more formal. The comfort of the space is combined with JNcQUOI's good cuisine, run by chef António Boia. Not to be missed, on the menu, the Burrata DOP stands out, with or without Ham, the Sea Bass Ceviche with lime and a handful of the so-called “Classics”, including the Paletilha with oven-baked rice and greens, the Duck Confit and the Sole Meunière.

Ocean (Lagoa) - Golden Fork

Ocean (Lagoa) - Golden Fork

The living room, nobly decorated, has big tables, a fireplace for the winter and a balcony facing the ocean, creating a romantic and fanciful atmosphere. The service of dishes is never repeated from confection to confection, creating a visual delight, followed by the gustatory one. Highlighting a dish is impossible, because the menu changes weekly, because here it is not the product that rules, but what is created from it – today is fish, tomorrow is meat, and nothing is eternal. The wine list is certainly a paradise for oenophiles, not only the Portuguese but also of the four corners of the world, with labels and dates for all tastes and wallets.

Solar dos Presuntos (Lisbon) - Golden Fork

Solar dos Presuntos (Lisbon) - Golden Fork

With more than 40 years, Solar dos Presuntos is already a classic. Its traditional cuisine, with a strong influence from regional Minho cuisine, enchants and convinces. Lamprey rice and fried shad with bread, in their season, are the subject of pilgrimage, but equally good and always permanent are cod à Gomes de Sá or Narcisa, lobster rice, cabidela rice and roast goat à Monção. Good green wine list.
