Statue located in the Serra da Marofa mountain range, at an altitude of approximately 977 meters. The magnificent views offered by this location are a highlight.

A mountain range, 977 meters high, ten kilometers long and 7.5 kilometers wide, belonging to the Ancient Massif between the Douro and Tagus rivers. It is located southwest of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, between the Côa River and the Spanish border, and is characterized by a forest of abundant pine and oak trees. At the top, highlights include the Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima, built in 1947, the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a replica of the one in France, and the landmark of the place: the imposing Christ the King statue.

A small pier that can be a starting point for a cruise on the Douro River, or simply a nice place for a stroll.

This Gothic temple has a longitudinal plan with a nave, a narrower chancel, and attached sacristy, bell tower, and belfry. It features lateral buttresses, a decorated cornice, and a small porch on the south facade. What distinguishes this church are the 16th-century Mudéjar ceilings, which employ stylized geometric and vegetal decorative themes.

A cistern with an irregular rectangular plan, featuring three blank facades and a main facade pierced by two portals, without a roof. The interior presents a single space intended for water storage.

Castelo Rodrigo is located on a steep hill, at an altitude of 820 meters, at the source of the Serra da Marofa mountain range. According to history, it was inhabited around half a millennium BC and later occupied by the Romans, still preserving two intersecting road sections from that era. It possesses a valuable collection of military and religious architecture, notably the walls of the medieval castle, the Manueline pillory, the palace of the 1st Marquis of Castelo Rodrigo, the Rocamador church, and several houses with Manueline windows. Regional crafts are characterized by lace and embroidery.
