Green is the natural tone of this river beach, a color that can also be seen looking at the waters that perfectly reflect the scenery. The construction of this beach was made according to the landscape and its natural wealth.

Straddling the municipalities of Mértola and Serpa, this waterfall is of rare beauty. It's approximately 14 meters high, in a place of rich geological heritage, where the river flows with a tremendous roar between two cliffs. A narrow rocky strait strangles the river so much that it overflows, forming a waterfall. The imposing landscape lends a unique beauty to this place, steeped in legend and history. During floods, the drop in water level is reduced, allowing several species to travel upstream to spawn.

The trail descends to Fajã da Praia do Norte, a fajã formed initially by debris and later by lava, with the occurrence of eruption of Cabeço do Fogo. The fajã is marked by the presence of the Ribeira de Adam, along which the trail continues. A little further you will find praia da fajã, recommended by locals for the practice of surf. This route passes in an area classified as a site of Community interest and Special protection area.

This Chapel is located in the city's old quarter, in face of the shipyards and the Largo da Barca, where there was a boat to cross the River before the construction of the bridge. From simple aspect, has the main port garnished the stonework.

This religious building was founded in 1708 by Domingos Lourenço Perdigão. It was here that the prisoners out of jail in the area came to fulfill the divine offices.
